History
The Molybon Group founder Axel Kaufmann started the agency Svenska Senoplast AB in Sweden in 1968, selling sheets and foils to the vacuum packing and packaging industry.

This business is now Molybon Agenturer AB – a market-leading total supplier of materials and machines in the field of thermoforming.
In 1976 Axel Kaufmann broadened the wholesale business to include warehousing of semi-finished plastics. Today that business is called Molybon Industriplast AB.
2005 saw the launch of Molybon Byggplast AB in Olofström. They specialise in supplying glazing products to the construction industry, advertisers and the display market.

Geiss agency established, machines are added to the product portfolio..

Molybon Industriplast is formed, semi-finished goods distribution is added..

1980
|
Molybon Verkstads AB is formed and operates from 1980 – 1984.

1984
|
Molybon Agenturer becomes an independent company.

1985
|
Molybon Trading is registered in Stockholm.

1986
|
The Molybon Group is formed and buys up the other Molybon companies.

1988
|
Molybon Industriplast is established in Gothenburg.

1991
|
Molybon builds its own facilities in Trelleborg.

1996
|
Molybon Industriplast´s new factory starts up and new premises are added.

2002
|
The Molybon Group has grown to 43 employees, with sales of SEK 80 million.

2005
|
Molybon Byggplast AB is set up in Olofström.
|
|
2008
|
Media Plast in Stockholm is incorporated into the Molybon Group and the range is widened to include signage material in plastic.

2009 Molybon expand with new facilities of 2500m2. Molybon Byggplast moves to Trelleborg.
2011 Söderbergföretagen buys the Molybon Group.
